It was the perfect hotel with an excellent staff, perfect location, and easy walking distance to lots of restaurants and the harbor. We flew into KEF airport, then took a taxi to the hotel. Even though it is a fairly new hotel and owned by Hilton, it definitely had a European feel to it (if that's what you're looking for). Snježana was the main person we dealt with at the front desk. She was very nice, very professional, and very helpful. We had a few issues with canceled tours. She was more than happy to help us out, making phone calls, etc. to the various tour groups. The bar area at the hotel is very nice with comfortable couches and chairs, and plenty of seating room. Kris, who was the bartender was very nice, very professional, and makes good cocktails. There is also beer and wine available. The breakfast every morning was very good. Breakfast always included bacon, scrambled eggs, cold cuts, cheeses, and lots of different pastries and breads.

Usually, when visiting larger cities and capitals, we choose to have dinner at one of the city's restaurants, but during Christmas and New Year's week, almost all the restaurants in the city were already busy, so we chose to have dinner in the hotel restaurant. And we did not regret for a moment. Dinner was great. The same can be said for breakfast. Very helpful staff and attitude to the needs of guests. Rooms are also clean, comfortable and spacious. It can be said that we did not lack anything. In addition, the hotel is ideally located in Reykjavik, a few steps from the city’s pedestrian streets and the sea. Thanks to all the staff for the treatment!

This is a fantastic hotel. The location is great and the room was super well appointed and comfortable. The bed was brilliant. There are lots of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance along with many of the city's main tourist sights. Pick for tours was easy at bus stop 3 (you will get the hang of pick ups in the city, not as complicated as on first sight). Complementary drink each night helped round off day and meet fellow guests in the bar. The service was also very good, super helpful.

The hotel was close to the old center of the city. Due to slight overbooking that day, we received a room in higher standard. It was great. Breakfast was really nice too. We stayed just for one night but would stay again if we visit Iceland once more.

Anna

Breakfast was lovely , a little perhaps more hot food and fruit variety might have been welcome. Pastries and breads all lovely. Can't really complain , and would recommend. No strawberry jam might be my only real complaint .
